Kirsten Paludan and Nate Holt met in the mid 90’s on the University of Kansas campus, but didn’t start collaborating together until nearly 20 years later. After being reintroduced to each other by playing in the local scene, they discovered that they were musical kindred spirits and quickly formed a bond. During the second year of the pandemic, KP recorded guest vocals for several Asterales tracks, and their creative connection was cemented. Not long after, they actively began making original music together as Semper Viridis.
