JTO
Johnny O’Neil has always chased feeling over fame. Born and raised in St. Louis, he first found his voice with the Midwest band Lojic, who became regional favorites sharing stages with 311, The Urge, and other alt-rock heavyweights. But while the crowds grew, Johnny’s curiosity pulled him toward another art form—film editing—a path that took him to Los Angeles, where his work shaped trailers millions have seen without ever knowing his name.
In time, the music called him back. Out of late-night sketches and quiet reflection, JTO was born—a solo project that fuses cinematic texture with emotional intimacy. The sound lands somewhere between Elbow, Radiohead, RY X, James Blake, and Bon Iver, carried by O’Neil’s understated honesty and instinct for melody.
At its heart, JTO is less about spotlight and more about connection—a shy, soulful storyteller rediscovering the joy of sound, space, and sincerity.
