Sqwerv is taking over Denver’s music scene—and beyond.

This nationally touring quartet blends classic rock, psychedelic funk, and jam-fusion into a sound that’s entirely their own: groovy, adventurous, and wildly alive. With electrifying live shows, soulful songwriting, and fearless improvisation, they’ve become one of the most talked-about acts to emerge from Colorado’s underground in recent years.

Formed in 2017 out of Denver’s open jam community, Sqwerv has quickly grown from local favorite to national force. Their relentless gig schedule and magnetic live energy have cultivated a fiercely loyal fanbase across the U.S., from basement clubs to major festivals. Their live performances feel like communal ceremonies—equal parts dance party, sonic journey, and spiritual release.

In 2024, they released two full-length albums, including the cinematic Mirage, and the home-recorded  Hors D’oeuvres . These studio works showcase the band’s evolution, mixing tight hooks with theatrical arrangements, lush textures, and that signature Sqwerv groove.

Having shared the stage with George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Spafford, Eggy, Lespecial, Big Something, and more, Sqwerv is no longer just “one to watch”—they're here, they’re rising fast, and they’re building something big. With a new album on the way in 2025 and momentum snowballing, Sqwerv is poised to bring their psychedelic funk voyage to an even wider audience.
